Toddler Child Care Program

The first few years of a child’s life are an extraordinary period of cognitive and emotional growth, brain development, and language acquisition. In Brookfield Academy’s Montessori toddler child care program, each child is nurtured as a unique individual and given varied opportunities to learn and grow.

About Our Montessori Toddler Program

Toddlers are encouraged to explore in a rich, safe learning environment with materials from the natural world, everyday household objects, and materials chosen for their design and sensory qualities. Freedom of movement is valued and children have opportunities to use all of their emerging physical and cognitive skills.

Our Montessori-trained toddler teachers form close bonds with the children, encouraging the development of language and body awareness through movement and exploration. Under their care, the children establish a strong sense of security and autonomy, laying a foundation for lifelong learning.
