My Background

Ms. Cori is the talented and dedicated Art Teacher at Brookfield Academy, where she has been inspiring students with her creative vision and artistic expertise since 2008. With her extensive experience and passion for the arts, she plays a vital role in fostering creativity and self-expression among students of all ages.

Before becoming the Art Teacher, Ms. Cori held the position of Club Director and Summer Camp Director at Brookfield Academy's Troy campus, where she demonstrated her leadership skills and ability to organize enriching extracurricular activities. Her involvement in these programs allowed her to build strong relationships with students and parents, furthering her connection to the Brookfield Academy community.

Ms. Cori studied fine art at Adrian College, where she developed a deep understanding of various artistic techniques and principles. Her education has laid the foundation for her diverse artistic practice, and she continues to paint, draw, and create in her spare time. Whether working with traditional or contemporary media, Ms. Cori is always exploring new ways to express herself through her art, and she shares this enthusiasm with her students, encouraging them to explore their own creative potential.

Beyond her skills as an artist, Ms. Cori is committed to being a positive and supportive presence in the lives of her students. She finds great joy in being a part of each child's day, offering encouragement and inspiration that helps them grow not only as artists but also as confident and imaginative individuals. Her warm and nurturing approach makes her a beloved figure at Brookfield Academy, where she is known for creating an environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and expressing themselves through art.
