Ms. Cable is an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Reading Teacher at Brookfield Academy, where she plays a key role in fostering a love of reading and language development among her students. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Language Arts from Central Michigan University, which has equipped her with a strong foundation in both teaching and literacy. Her passion for education and helping young learners grow is evident in every lesson she teaches.
This is Ms. Cable’s sixth year at Brookfield Academy, where she has quickly become a beloved member of the school community. She brings a vibrant energy to the classroom and is committed to creating an engaging and positive learning environment for her students. Ms. Cable believes that learning should be both enjoyable and meaningful, and she works hard to incorporate fun and interactive elements into her lessons. One of her signature teaching strategies is using magic to capture her students' imaginations, making reading and language arts come alive in unique and exciting ways.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Cable enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect her adventurous and creative spirit. She is an avid reader, always eager to explore new books and share her love of reading with others. Hiking is another one of her favorite activities, as she enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring nature’s beauty. Traveling is a passion for Ms. Cable as well, and she loves experiencing new cultures and destinations. When she's at home, Ms. Cable enjoys cooking, often experimenting with new recipes and enjoying time spent in the kitchen with family and friends.
