Mrs. Klein is the lead Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. While homeschooling her own kids for 16 years, she discovered her passion for teaching and earned her teaching certificate with an endorsement in Elementary Education.
Although Mrs. Klein grew up a few miles down the road, she has been around the world and back! She spent 9 years overseas in Thailand, and most recently, 6 years in West Michigan.
Her experiences have shaped her teaching philosophy of meeting each child where they are at individually, creating a warm environment for children to grow, and inspiring her students to be lifelong learners by sparking curiosity and creativity. In her free time, Mrs. Klein likes to play strategy games and go on adventures with her family. She is very excited to join the Brookfield Academy community!
