Ms. Lisa began her career at Brookfield Academy in 1999, and over the course of her 20+ years with the school, she has made a profound impact on the lives of students, parents, and colleagues. Throughout her career, Ms. Lisa has taught in multiple grade levels, including Preschool and Lower Elementary, where she nurtured and supported the academic and personal growth of young learners. Her versatile experience has provided her with a deep understanding of child development, which she has used to create meaningful educational experiences across various age groups.
In addition to her teaching roles, Ms. Lisa has served as the Principal at both the Waterford and West Bloomfield campuses. Her leadership has been marked by a commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for both students and staff. Her ability to manage the complexities of school operations while prioritizing the well-being and success of each student has made her a respected leader within the Brookfield Academy community.
Ms. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint, further strengthening her skills in leadership and education management. Additionally, she received her Montessori credential in 2000, which has been foundational in her approach to teaching and learning, ensuring that she remains aligned with Montessori principles of child-centered education.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Lisa is an avid practitioner of Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art, which she trains in alongside her family. She enjoys the physical and mental discipline that comes with the practice, and it’s a special bonding experience for her and her loved ones. Ms. Lisa is also a dedicated sports mom, enthusiastically supporting her son as he plays football, basketball, golf and skeet . Whether on the sidelines of a game or in the dojo, Ms. Lisa finds joy in being actively involved in her family’s interests while maintaining a balance between her professional and personal life.
