I am the lead language teacher for the 2nd and 3rd grade classes here at Brookfield. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oakland University in 2020. I have always had a strong passion for teaching. Although most of my teaching career has been in Michigan, I have had the chance to work in religious and private school settings in Pittsburgh for the past 2 and a half years. I grew up in the metro Detroit area and I have always looked at teaching as the most rewarding career someone can have. I believe I had an impactful education experience growing up along with educators in my life that motivated me to pursue teaching. I admire teaching because I want to inspire children and want them to enjoy learning. I simply want to teach to make a difference in children’s lives and foster academic and personal growth. When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family outdoors, cook, and stay active.
